CoRecruit vs Bullhorn Amplify: Full Comparison for Recruiters (2026)

Key Takeaways

  • Bullhorn Amplify is a native, Bullhorn-only AI feature still in beta, with notetaking, ATS logging, and submittals expected within a few months.
  • It doesn't currently record phone calls, which cover the majority of recruiter communication.
  • CoRecruit works across Bullhorn and 20+ other ATS platforms, records calls without a bot, and already handles the automation Amplify is still building toward.

corecruit vs bullhorn amplify

Bullhorn Amplify is Bullhorn's native AI layer, built directly into the ATS. It combines a purpose-built staffing LLM with AI "digital workers" that operate inside Bullhorn's existing environment, aiming to automate outreach, admin, and record updates without adding headcount.

CoRecruit already records the calls that make up 91% of recruiter communication, on top of notetaking, automating candidate/client submittals, and ATS updates. So how do the two compare today?

Here's the breakdown.

What are CoRecruit and Bullhorn Amplify?

CoRecruit

corecruit features

CoRecruit is an AI assistant purpose-built for third-party staffing agencies and executive search firms. It records interviews and calls across Zoom, VoIP, personal phone, and in-person meetings, without needing a bot on the call, and pushes structured notes straight into your ATS. Beyond notetaking, it automates the full workflow:

  • Updating ATS records with structured fields, not dumped text
  • Generating client-ready submittals automatically
  • Standardizing write-ups across a team
  • Recording phone calls without a call-joining bot

CoRecruit works with Bullhorn and 20+ other ATS platforms, so agencies aren't locked into one system.

Bullhorn Amplify

bullhorn amplify comparison

Bullhorn Amplify centers on Amplify Chat, a staffing-specific LLM that operates entirely within Bullhorn's own environment rather than a separate app. It understands job orders, candidate profiles, client requirements, and can launch outreach sequences or update records directly from within the system.

Because it's built by Bullhorn, Amplify only works for agencies running Bullhorn.

Feature-by-feature breakdown

AI interview notetaking

CoRecruit turns conversations into structured notes without a recruiter typing during the call, across phone, video, and in-person meetings. Bullhorn's focuses on chat-based assistance and workflow actions rather than call transcription specifically at the moment.

Direct ATS field updates

Dumping a summary into a notes field is easy. Updating the specific structured fields a Bullhorn record actually uses, activity type, status, custom fields, is harder, and it's where a lot of "AI notetaker" tools stop short. CoRecruit writes directly into those fields today. Amplify is expected to do the same, but the level of depth with these fields is not known.

Client-ready submittals

CoRecruit generates client-ready submittals with one click, in an agency's own established format. Amplify doesn’t offer client-ready candidate submittals at the moment.

Phone call recording and transcription

CoRecruit records phone calls, covering cold calls, inbound call-backs, and outbound dialing (which is the channel that makes up 91% of recruiter communication).  Amplify does not currently support phone recording or transcription at all. For a corporate TA team running scheduled video interviews, that's a small hole. For a staffing agency living on the phone all day, it means Amplify covers only a portion of daily recruiter activity.

Built-in VoIP

CoRecruit includes unlimited US/Canada calling on every plan, so recruiters can dial straight from the browser without a separate VoIP subscription. Amplify has no VoIP component. It's a logging layer on top of however an agency already makes calls, not a calling tool itself.

ATS integration breadth

Amplify is built for one ATS: Bullhorn. That's a reasonable bet if an agency has no plans to ever use anything else, but it also means the tool is only as portable as the ATS decision itself. CoRecruit integrates with Bullhorn plus 40+ other platforms, so switching or running multiple systems doesn't mean switching more tools too.

Write-up customization

CoRecruit can train on an agency's own write-up examples, so submittals come out matching an established brand voice rather than a generic template. Amplify doesn’t offer anything similar as of now.

MCP connector: querying data in natural language

ai recruiting tool

CoRecruit’s MCP connector lets recruiters ask questions about their own call and candidate data directly through Claude or ChatGPT, instead of digging through the ATS manually. A recruiter can ask something like "find every candidate who mentioned they were open to relocating" or "which active roles have had no calls logged in the last two weeks" and get an answer immediately, pulled straight from CoRecruit's data. It also works for prep: pulling together a full briefing across every call on a role before a client update, instead of piecing one together from separate notes by hand. Amplify has no equivalent today.

Frequently asked questions

Is Bullhorn Amplify available to all Bullhorn users?

Bullhorn Amplify is currently in limited beta. Full availability and packaging details haven't been announced yet.

Does Bullhorn Amplify record phone calls?

No. Amplify currently does not support phone call recording or transcription. Since phone calls make up 91% of recruiter communication, agencies that rely heavily on calling will still need a separate tool to cover that channel.

Can Bullhorn Amplify work with other ATS platforms besides Bullhorn?

No. Amplify is a native Bullhorn feature and only works within Bullhorn. Agencies using multiple ATS platforms, or considering a switch, would need a tool built to work across systems.‍
